Nicole Richie could be set for a full-time acting career?

 

NICOLE RICHIE could be set for a full-time acting career after impressing co-stars and bosses during her recent sitcom guest spot.

The reality TV star began shooting her cameo in Chuck last week (ends27Jun08) - accompanied on set by baby daughter Harlow - playing the high school nemesis of regular character Sarah, played by Yvonne Strahovski.

And she is being tipped to return by sources on the show. An insider tells People.com, “It was fantastic. She was friendly. Everybody loved her. She has a great fight scene.”

The episode will air in October (08).

OPRAH’S PREGNANT MAN GIVES BIRTH TO BABY GIRL

Thomas Beatie, who was impregnated after changingan international  genders but keeping his female reproductive organs, delivered a healthy baby daughter Thursday, ABC News reported.

The 34-year-old transgendered man revealed his pregnancy in April, setting off furor. He underwent surgery for breast removal and began taking male hormones years ago.

New Details - High School Musical 3

PEOPLE - High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the long-awaited big-screen version of the hit Disney Channel show, isn’t due in theaters until Oct. 24, but we’ve got a first photo from the set to get you through the summer.

Here, Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and Troy (Zac Efron) celebrate the best night of their lives – prom! – as only East High’s Wildcats can: with a magical musical-dance number. “Vanessa’s definitely the stronger dancer,” Efron, 20, tells PEOPLE. “If I forget the next move, she’ll lead me. We have to help each other, that’s what we do.”

Well Paris Hilton’s new reality show ‘My New BFF’ (the one where Paris searches for a new Best Friend) hasn’t even come out yet. She’s already in talks to do another…

The Chicago Sun Times reports:

Just imagine Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tori Spelling — as well as [Denise] Richards, Hilton and her former ”The Simple Life” co-star, Nicole Richie — together in one big two-hour special sharing ”their side” of what it’s like to be them.
That concept alone reportedly has intrigued a couple of cable channels initially contacted about the concept: Bravo and Lifetime.

Oscar Buzz for Heath Ledger

Though it’s been a little over 5 months since Heath Ledger’s untimely passing, the Academy Award nominated actor’s name has been all over the place with the upcoming release of The Dark
Knight. The previews look great, it’s generated a lot of hype, and some industry experts are even beginning to throw around Hollywood’s favorite five letter word: Oscar.
Rolling Stone film critic Peter Travers reviewed the film and gave it 3.5 out of 4 stars and a very glowing recommendation: “I can only speak superlatives of Ledger, who is mad-crazy-blazing
brilliant as the Joker…Ledger takes the role to the shadows, where even what’s comic is hardly a relief.” “It’s typical of Ledger’s total commitment to films as diverse as Brokeback Mountain and I’m Not There that he does nothing out of vanity or the need to be liked. If there’s a movement to get him the first posthumous Oscar since Peter Finch won for 1976’s Network, sign me up.”
“The haunting and visionary Dark Knight soars on the wings of untamed imagination. It’s full of surprises you don’t see coming. And just try to get it out of your dreams.” We really want to see this movie!
